Mondays - are currently for administration. Someone is here, however hours may vary.

To be eligible for OHIP Funded Physiotherapy
you must meet the following criteria:
1 -Have an acute (new) injury, or worsening of a chronic condition. OHIP does not cover physiotherapy for long term or ongoing conditions. It is helpful, but not mandatory to be referred by a physician or nurse practitioner.
Have a valid Ontario Health (OHIP) Card.
AND
2 - Be within one of the following categories:
- Age 65 years and older
- Age 19 years and under
- Any age after an overnight hospital stay or an outpatient/day surgery procedure (within the last 12 months) for a condition requiring physiotherapy
- Eligible for Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) or the Ontario Works (OW) programs

* Patients with an injury covered by WSIB (a work injury) or Motor Vehicle Accident Insurance, are not eligible
for OHIP covered physiotherapy.
Changes made by the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care (OHIP):
Clients having hip, knee, or shoulder replacement surgery are to attend post-operative therapy at the hospital where the surgery was done un the Bundled Care Program. The hospital is being paid for this therapy and therefore clients are no longer eligible for funding under the program listed above for post-op physiotherapy. If you wish to attend physiotherapy locally the client is responsible to cover the costs.
